How can I fix this problem?

Hi!
My OS is WInME.
When Windows starts, an error message appears. "Can't access to Regidit, re=start your computer."

I used to run RegClean. Is it a bad thing to do?
Now I am deselect "Scanrew" from "msconfig".

How can I fix this problem?

Hmmm....sounds like your registry is corrupted pretty bad. Try and get to a DOS prompt, and type this:

scanreg /restore

and choose a date to go back to. After it loads the previous registry, try restarting your computer and if it still doesn't work, do the same thing again, but choose a date farther back to revert to.

ME doesn't natively support DOS!
since you can't get the OS to desktop so you can use the restore function of ME,then it looks like you may need to reinstall!

Actually, go to &quot;start&quot; -> &quot;run&quot; then type in &quot;command&quot; will take you into DOS. (Yes, in ME!)
