Question how can i stop md

i did try stop raid setting with
[root@RAID ~]# mdadm --stop /dev/md/iscsi
this but i have problem like this
mdadm: Cannot get exclusive access to /dev/md/iscsierhaps a running process, mounted filesystem or active volume group?
how can i stop this
