It's was supposed to be a Biden blowout.
He was leading by 10+ points for weeks before the election.
Now it's down to 4 states and Trump leads in all 4 (as of 5am).

Thought the pollsters learned from their mistakes from the 2016 election?

There's no Biden blowout.
How did the pollsters get it wrong again?

What reprisal do you worry about from a pollster?

Edit: On second thought, I guess irrational fear is at the heart of the modern day conservative so perhaps I should withdrawal my question.

Apparently they are scared of rioting and looting in the cities that they don’t live in/eye roll

Actually we know what “reprisals” they really don’t want...it’s to have their opinions questioned and countered. They want to speak their mind without people telling/showing them how fucking stupid they sound.

And, of course, minorities to know their place. I said it.

How do you know millions of mailed ballots were not counted.

How do you know that voting machines tabulated tallies correctly?

While there was a lot of wishful thinking, remember, a lot of folks do not read and pundits want attention.

Maybe you have missed the terrorist organization called BLM. They target houses with Trump signs.

I'm going to enjoy this Trump win more so than the last. I can't wait to see the riots from the snowflakes and the celebrities crying on TV. Its going to be fucking glorious.

I said from pollsters, what do you have to fear from pollsters? Why are simple questions so difficult?

I won't even bother with your canard.

Spoken like a true American.

Btw, BLM isn’t a terrorist organization, no matter how much your cult leader claims it to be.

Reality is what we perceive it to be. Unfortunately, millions of Americans live in a reality vastly different than ours. A reality where Democrats eat babies and always have.

I think a lot of information is going to come out, but one of the posts on fivethirtyeight was that the turnout of republican women voters was much much higher. So there are some shifts in voting patterns that are continuing to happen and polls seem to be behind on those trends.

Keep in mind that it's believed the clear majority of uncounted votes in those states will be for Biden. If Biden gets enough of those, and he very well might, then he clearly wins. It's not over yet.

Black Lives Matter is not a terrorist organization. They do not foment riots and insurrections.

That would be the Boogaloo and the Proud Boys. They are the violent ones.

Which is why after careful investigations, police in Minneapolis determined that a lot of the violence which occurred in that city was instigated by members of those two White racist groups who pretended to be aggrieved by the murder of George Floyd.

The problem with poll taking is that it's done far too much and people tend to lie to the pollsters.

I will always believe hundreds of thousands of mail ballots never made it county clerk offices and that was indeed the plan of Trump and his minions who don't believe in free and fair elections.

The election isn't over and it will take a while to unpack everything but there seems to be general confusion about how campaign internals on both sides and district level polling didn't even hint much at this outcome. The Rs seem just as surprised as the Ds. Overall a very strange election.

Nothing like voting for a candidate that supported legislation that disproportionately locked up minorities or his famous "you ain't black" line. Biden and the Progressheviks show minorities exactly where their place is.

I disagree. It seems the biden campaign predicted this exact scenario. In fact I'm amazed at how focused his campaign was.

I told my friends to "forget" the polls and predictions. And for Dems to go vote. There were other voters on social media that implored Democrats to do the same. THIS ELECTION IS UP TO THE VOTER'S - NOT POLLSTERS! I know this is a rub Democrats nose in dog poop moment but, when polls are put out; It is up to you to believe them or reject them. This is a great headline and makes us look bad. I wasn't listening to it. It is what was reported to get readership and viewership and draw excitement. Nothing more! Quiet down Trump's humble servants - Your King of corruption might squeak it out!

By all measures it looks like both parties got out the vote.

They were prepared for this scenario. I'm not sure they though it was the most likely by any stretch.

Yeah, Florida polling is clearly biffed and something needs to be done about that. But overall, we're still in a very likely scenario.

Ohio and Iowa among others also. It doesn't look like anybody on either side can poll hispanics (and their sub groups) worth a shit either.
