How do I remove WinME?

I have my drive partitioned into 2 parts, one is C: (with ME on it), the other is D: (With win2k on it) I installed win2k after I installed Winme, and have found that I really dont need winme. I know that win2k put some files on my C: partition. My question is, is how do i remove Winme from my hdd and have win2k as the sole operating system? what files are on my c: that were put on by win2k?

For starters, you *should* be able to delete ALL directories, as Win2K wouldn't have put any there.

If you want to be bold, make an emergency repair floppy in Win2K (backup too in accessories). Then format C:. Then boot with your Win2K CD and repair the boot sector with the info on your ERF you made in step 1. You *should* end up with a clean C:. BUT DO THIS IF YOU ARE CONFIDENT IN YOURSELF (and a little confident in me ... but I've never down this myself ).

just grab all your documents out of there. i guess you could also just kill c:\windows and the system files on that partition.
