Raves and rants about good and bad deals and vendors questions should be posted in the ~~~~ Brag & Moan ~~~~ thread.

nope, it is easy to make a small business account, just put your name or something for the business name.

On some rebate forms I have from CompUSA, there's a space for a "Retail Kit Model #"... what is that?

Also, in the space for serial number, i'm not sure if I'm supposed to put the number on the box marked "S/N", or the number marked "Serial" on the reciept next to the item I'm getting the rebate for.

I posted this in the other forum before i noticed this thread but....

I have a question about a best buy rebate. It was for the MAxtor 250 gig Hard drive. The rebate form that printed off in-store didn't say to send in the UPC or a copy of it. (wierd IMO) However the online rebate center form does. But the online center rebate form makes you send it to a slighty different place also.

Should I go ahead and send in a copy of the UPC or will it get disqualified because it didn't say to? I thought it is strange it just says send "this form and a copy of the reciept". Or is this normal with best buy in store sales with rebates?

I remember a thread in the "Hot deals" area about 6 months ago that allowed users of Verizion's "IN" plan to call anyone in the US for $9.95/month. I did a search and cannot find the thread, is the company still around? A link?
