That's not good advice IMO. He should do it manually. Here's a comprehensive guide, Sammy.

You will need aftermarket CPU cooling. If you are using the Intel heatsink that came with the cpu, do not overclock until you replace it with a better one. The cheapest heatsink that will give you noticeable returns is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. That will get you 4.3-4.4Ghz. If you want more headroom you could get maybe 4.6 or 4.7 out of something like a Corsair H100i, assuming your case can accomodate it. An H80i will probably get you 4.4-4.6 and will fit many more cases than the H100i will.
Nothing is guaranteed though. My identical CPU may take 4.5Ghz at .05V or more less than yours, giving me much better tempertatures. Yours may not do 4.5Ghz at all with the cooler you get for it. It's all a crapshoot. Each individual cpu is only certified to operate at its stock clockspeed and stock voltage. Beyond that you are not guaranteed anything. Your chip can be a flop, a voltage hog, or a power sipper.
