And if you try to access the disk by way of Windows Explorer, it will show as not formatted. This is perfectly normal, the disk will still work.
Also, there's some keys to press to get it to run all the tests, but I don't remember the number sequences exactly.
In the program, the menus you want are the first three. Just press the number of the menu to open it. The first menu...I think it concerns the cache - set it to Always On.
The other menus are for the amount of RAM to test (set this to Test All), and the tests to run (set to All Tests). Let it loop several times, which can take a few hours. You can just set it off to do the tests overnight and check it in the morning. If you get any errors, that's bad, even just one. Lower timings, or lower clock speed if you're overclocking the RAM. Or up the voltage a bit.
