That's the card i would buy if i didn't already have a decent card. MSI's customer support is better than most of the others, and it's even overclocked mildly for a great price. At $169, you cannot go wrong!
well seeing as that is actually not available at any store and probably really wont be much better (it has a slower ram clock than the 512mb one) it probably isnt worth bothering.
the MSI card is a reference design just like the HIS, ATI sapphire etc. i'm assuming its going to be just as reliable. (though it does have a higher stock clock)
it is available.. newegg is selling it now for 209$ +6 shipping, which is ridiculously high compared to MSRP.
According to the one review so far it is as fast as the 512MB version (as in, less then 1% difference) except when you enable AA on high resolutions... then it falls between the 512MB GT and the 3870... It also always beats the 3870 and 3850, sometimes by a huge margin.http://en.expreview.com/?p=64
the review is for one with 1800mhz memory. the one at newegg has 1400mhz memory. so i'd assume it would not be much faster than a $159-169 3850 at that point.
