Depends on you. Everyone will tell you their god is right, and give you different punishments for not believing them, most of which will involve you being killed and/or sen to some sort of torture chamber for eternity.
Personally, I kinda just took Christianity and screwed with it. I admire a lot of Christian values, but I cannot accept the existence of a god that would send innocents to hell. God knows we are human, and thus are subject to mistakes.
According to Christianity, there is a "time of responsibility" when you figure out the existence of their god on your own. Period. You just figure it out. Even if you lived in a bubble with no human contact, you're supposed to figure it out. That is retarded.
That means that "Christian" rapists and murders who repent will go to heaven, along with Hitler, and heroes and people who contribute to god's creation will go to hell for not believing in him. This is also retarded and contradictory to the definition of god.
So I basically took the bible, modified Genesis a bit, and took out any passage that condemned people to hell simply for not believing in god. My god is the judge of good and evil. The good go to heaven, the evil go to hell. Those who do not have faith in my god upon their death, and are just people, are given the heavenly equivalent of a desk job, without the full bliss of living in heaven, until they repent. Those that are evil go to hell. Period.
My justification for this is that the Bible (and all holy scriptures) are supposedly the words of some god or other. But they are the words of said god translated into human language. Even Jesus spoke in a human made language. And if god is incomprehensible, how can we hope to translate his word into ours? How can anyone, even god himself?
