BWHAHAHAHA this is too damn funny!
EDIT: Unless you believe in th e FLying Spaghetti Monster...
I suppose that we, and the other animals, and the elements out of which things are made - fire, water, and the like - are known by use to be each and all the creation and work of God.

Alright, all this talk of religion got me thinking. How many Gods are there? Which God is the right God? Suppose I don't know anything about any God, what would be the defining persuasion for me to convert to a certain religion?
I'm not a very religious person, and I'm a Buddhist by birth. Now I know Buddha is not a God, and there is a higher being than Buddha. So who is this supposed being? Is this the same God as everyone's, if there is a God?

I think, that to be worthy of being called "God", God must be One.
The divinity of Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Zoroaster, Krishna, Rama, etc., are as much unknown as is God, and the subjects of some debate. The Abrahamic religions say clearly that God is One, yet there are the holy trinity, prophets and messiahs, etc., to confuse the matter.
The omnipresence of God presents some logical difficulties. Is God everywhere? How is He in the heart? Is God in the stars, or did He just create them and go on? Or are the stars just illusion with no reality compared to God? What does that mean?
Such questions are interesting to many, and simple nonsense to many others, and for the most part, still of little or no practical relevance, however the sincerity of intent and goal. Is it perhaps because of this reason that the Buddha did not dwell upon a semi-abstract God and focused instead on spiritual behavior?
I know nothing. Yet I hold the view that the God of the major religions is One. They are different in presentation, interpretation, representation, willful and accidental manipulation, and omission.

god isn't real, belief in a god is a sign of a mental disease.
Prove it.
In all seriousness you of course cannot prove that God doesn't exist, but you also cannot prove he does. That being said, I believe the chance that God exists is very slight. Sure, it's possible, but highly unlikely IMO.
Edit: if you're serious about a discussion, drop me a PM. This thread will go down the tubes pretty quickly.
You can prove God exists. Anything that does exist can be proven. It is, however, a catch-22. You have actually believe he exists before you'll want to prove it. That's what we in the business call faith.

although there are many gods.
EDIT:
No one can "persuade" you or convert you to a religion. You have to decide that on your own. If you are sincere in your question, I suggest that you read one of the gospels (Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke or John) and pray for God to reveal Himself to you.

Trick question! Gods are evolving through natural selection, the answer isn't constant.
