How many kenshin DVD's

Hey guys,
I've got a question for ya. My gf is going to buy me the Kenshin DVD's but I need to know which ones are out. List away!

My advise, look up eBay for Japanese/HK anime dvds. The quality is about the same but you can buy them for much much less price. As for North America release, I would say the total is probably around 30 dvds.

Do the Japanese/HK anime dvd's have english subtitling? Aslo, if their dvd's, how is the quality any different?

As for the gf, i've tried talking her out of buying it but she wont hear any of it.... my luck eh?

2 OVA DVDs
1 Movie
13 DVD for the the TV Series (available)

I must say your gf sounds great just because she is buying you all these DVDs. I watched all the Kenshin series about 2 years ago when they first came out in japan and they are badass (although season 3 is a little less exciting as 2). I currently have all the DVDs.

That's not right. there are only 16 DVDs out right now... I currently have all the North America releases you are one lucky guy if you gf is buying them for you.. they cost an arm and a leg for me but it's worth the investment.

the 2 Kenshin OVA DVD's (Samurai X in the US) are Trust and Betrayal

The movie is called Samurai X: The Movie (again, it's only called that in the US)
As far as the names of the DVD's I can only remember a few.
The second season is called Legend of Kyoto. Some of those are Ice Blue Eyes, Shadow of the Wolf, Heart of the Sword, Faces of Evil.

That's all the names of the DVD's I can remember by heart. Since I don't own them (since I can't afford them I should say)

The Japanese/HK dvds do comes with english subtitle. Quality of the picture is much better than my VHS tape, the sound is Dolby 5.1 Digital. YOu do have to becareful when buying though.
Of course the North American releases has about 16 out right now, but the TV series is only at episode 60? 34 more episodes left. WHen all are out, it should be about 24-26 ..
