How Many Very Early Adopters?

I usually only upgrade when the performance of my current rig no longer allows me to play my games at the desired settings.

Insofar, my overclocked 920 has served my needs well. So have my GTX 580 SLI, which are also overclocked.

I can max out Bioshock Infinite, Far Cry 3 and even Crysis 3 (without getting crazy with AA) @ 2560x1440..

Still, I'm feeling the need to upgrade my CPU in particular.. Once Haswell reviews start hitting the deck en masse, then I'll know for sure whether I want to upgrade to it, or to something else.

Takes me like a year to get extra money for a PC. So I kind of just started an expendable money fund. It is like a Christmas saving plan for Computers. This is separate and on top of retirement savings.

Last computer was a Q68 MB with a 2500k CPU.

I think Haswell will be lacking in any kind of improvement. I feel it should have DDR4. I cant see buying a new socket motherboard and then needing a new motherboard because Intel releases a chipset/CPU with DDR4 capability. I think this is what will happen.

I know a few people who spend more than $10 a day on cigarettes alone(heavy taxes here). Even if I'm spending $3000 every 2 years, I'm still spending far less money, especially if I sell off my old rig.
