How many watts for this?

Hi All,

I am upgrading my pc. When I have finished, I am going to end up having quite a few components, and am not sure if a 300W p/supply will be enough.

Asus AV7133 mobo
Duron 800Mhz (I will upgrade in the future)
Radeon 32Mb DDR
Creative SB Live
Internal hardware modem
Hauppage WinTV card
Teac 4x4x32 CD-Writer
Pioneer 106S DVD
30GB IBM GXP75
Zip 100 (£20!)
Floppy

I am interested in trying a little over-clocking, but I am not too fussed and could do without.

How many watts could I just scrape through with? And how many watts to be sure the p/supply would not affect stability?

I have a midi tower case, which is gonna be pretty full, and am also worried about heat problems.

Even a 300 watt Generic PS should do you fine.

Yep 300w is more then enough,go with a good brand like Antec,Sparkle no point buying Generic PSU since a quality PSU will serve you well for future upgrades..
