Hi,
I just got a new laptop and I was running the chkdsk utility from Windows XP. It schedule it to run the next time I reboot my computer. I realized that it would take forever to scan and fix any errors, and because I couldnt find a way to cancel it, I just turned it off. Now, when I try to load windows, whether from safe mode or last mode that worked, I get a stop error message and a message telling me to disable these utilities.
Using default configurations in the BIOS didn't help.
So how do I disable chkdsk?
Thanks,
G C
