How to increase speed of memory?

I have a Prime X370-Pro with Corsair 3000 Mhz 16GB memory. I recently updated to BIOS version 0803 without any issues. Currently the memory is running at 2133 Mhz. I tried setting the memory to 2933 Mhz and the timings to "auto". When I rebooted it failed to POST and said recovery mode and to adjust the BIOS values. I had to set it back to 2133 Mhz for it to boot properly again.

What exactly do I need to do to get it to run at 2933 Mhz?

Normally I'd say to enable an XMP profile. And you could still try that. However, you're on Ryzen, which is not so good at making memory run fast.

I'd say first set your RAM voltage to 1.35V. Then, try 2400 MHz with auto timings, then 2666 or so. I doubt you'll be able to get to 2933.
