How to recover emails?

Recently, I had a brutal crashing of my win2k bootup and have installed win2k on another partition.

How can I recover the email that I had moved into local folders on my hard drive from that partition? I use outlook express 5.

I'm not sure if this will work, did you do a backup or a copy?
Anyway you should be able to go to File, Import, Messages. Choose Outlook Express 5.
Then choose an OE store folder.
Browse and point it to the folder you copied your mail to.
That might do it, it depends on what you copied and whether it was a backup or not.
