Not sure if this is the correct forum - here goes anyway.

Upon starting my PC and beginning to use the internet via my browser (IE 6), whenever I click on a link that opens a new window, the window is opened to the smallest dimension. After resizing it and closing it, any new window will open correctly to the "last closed" dimension.

Is there a registry setting that has been "adjusted" that I need to tweak so I don't have to always resize the window (so I can see it contents!)?

TIA

Good question, ive been wondering the same thing. I heard that you should be able to fix this be opening a new window, maximizing it, and than opening a new window (File - New Window). All windows opened after that are supposed to be maximized. I tried it, but it didnt work for me, maybe it'll work for you.

you need to open a window - set it's size - then close the window. it remembers size of the last window closed so just do 1.
good luck

Been there and done that.

It appears that once I reboot my system, that the dimensions of a new_window reverts back to the smallest dimension.

Any other suggestions / ideas?

TIA

You probably used the maximize command. That will not work. You must manually size the window to as large as you wish. then close the browser...
