http client libraries

Anybody know much about the http client libraries? Can somebody recommend one that has a lot of documentation on how to use it?

I would like to write a script that fills out a sequence of website pages automatically.

might be able to do this in Perl without http libraries. Or javascript. What language are you looking at libraries for?


Visual test (if you are using windows) can pull from a text file and fill them in, but that is a craptastic solution.

i am thinking of using lwp in perl. have any experience with that?
