I had a problem with them about a year ago. I had ordered a processor for $250 and the next day it dropped to around $180. I don't know why, I felt they inflated the price etc. I emailed them about it, within an hour I got a personal phone call from monarch. He informed me that they cannot control the prices, that the price may even go up past $250 it all depends on what their suppliers give them. They offered me free shipping and a free fan I think it was to keep me as a customer. Not a bad experience if I may say so.

Seriously. You had a bad experience with a retailer. There is another forum that you frequent that is discussing this isue. Yet you insist on spamming this forum with minute updates about something we have shown to not care about.

edit: I also notice how people in that "huge" OCP thread are telling you to tone it down a notch as well. Do you have a bee in your bonnet, or just sand in your vagina?

Agreed but you have to judge a store on how they handle mistakes they make. Looks like Monarch has dropped the ball on holding themselves accountable lately.

Every retailer has bad stories. For the times I've ordered, I've gotten my parts fine, as well as pretty good customer service. Their forums are useful and solved a problem on my end with a motherboard not posting.

They have ok prices, and I don't have to pay tax when I buy from them. Problems I've had have been resolved to my satisfaction (see previous paragraph) and when they have a lowest total price compared to other ones I trust, they get my business, end of story.

My problem with Monarch is that they don't update their inventory online and in my experience, it took me calling days later to find out the mobo I ordered was OOS which their website didn't tell me. Oh, and it took a month to get that refunded.

I've never ordered from them nor visited their website, but so far I haven't seen any valid reasons to be pissed at them posted here. Seems like a lot of teen angst to me.

What about if you know for a fact that the 2ndary address is on file with the credit card? For me I have ordered from Monarch in the past (less than 3 months ago) and they shipped it to the 2ndary address.
This time they had some really messed customer support and couldn't get the 2ndary address verified.
Either Monarch didn't try or the CC company people were too damn lazy to look at the "note" area.
Even though I am not mad I am kinda dissapointed Monarch has pretty poor quality customer support when all those AMD coupons hit.
