I don't get this. Do people not know what a flute looks like? You don't put your mouth around it like a clarinet. The flute rests under your bottom lip.

You can't have a personal sexual preference for the same sex without being in the grey area of sexuality, what you consider attractive in a man is different from what others consider attractive in a man, because you have a personal preference, relative to you, you don't have access to some absolute knowledge about what defines attractive men for everyone, you are making a personal determination.
For example, I'm bipolar, am I 100% bipolar? No. I have bipolar symptoms a lot of the time, but sometimes I'm fine, some people have more serious degrees of bipolar disorder symptoms than me, some have less, it's all a spectrum, as is sexual orientation.
This is where you are going awry. You're implying that because I can identify traits that I believe to be attractive, I am defining a sexual preference. This is not the case, it has absolutely nothing to do with sex. Sure, it's a personal determination, but it's exclusive from any sexual desire. Aesthetic appeal != sexual appeal. You can find something aesthetically pleasing without a sexual connection - unless you're Freud I suppose.
Exactly. I have a preference for which dogs I like to look at more than others......and which desk looks better.
I guess that means I am in the gray area of beastiality

This doesn't change the fact that we are born favoring the opposite sex by default. If we weren't, our species would have died off a long time ago. The reason why I believe we are setup for bisexuality is because it is natures way of relieving sexual tension/anxiety. The opposite sex is not always available, so engaging in same sex allows that tension to be released.
