Well, I'm without power. (Damn it, the generator weighs a ton - had to lug it to the porch from the garage.) Lost power 2.5 hours ago. Fortunately have about 2300 kva of fully charged UPS plus gsm and lte devices so I'm fairly well set for Web.

The wind sounds like it's going to tear my house apart, I wouldn't have guessed that it would shake the way it does. Remind me to get the fuck out if a real one ever comes through, this baby one (windspeed) is enough to know I don't want to see mommy pissed off.

Power is out across large swaths of Ontario too, but the worst of it is out near Windsor. So far we're good here in Toronto other than it's raining sideways. Wasn't even very many accidents today. Most people behaving themselves. I was kept more busy with power outages, transformer fires, and airport delays. Though I did see a few signs lying in the road on my way home. Some poor lady got killed when she was struck by a large store sign.
