I disagree, show me each religion and such claims. buddhism for example makes no such claims. Shintoism has no such 'ultimatum' (sp?)
But don't take my disagreement too far, I agree with everything but the first sentence.

Tough call, especially since each religion claims to universally without a doubt true now. If it were definitely proven true, what would be the point? I follow no religion and choose to believe what I feel is right and would probably continue in the same fashion.
Would a religion continue be a religion, if faith is removed from the equation? It'd be like saying that from now on science will no longer need proof of theories and instead will work on the honor system.
