Agreed but with $6 - $8K off MSRP just add a blower if you need 490HP - Installed and Tuned for under $8K.
Only buy a '10 Mustang if you must buy a car today and ensure you get the Track Pack. The Mustang GT is a bit more practical than a 370Z, costs less, performs almost as well, better aftermarket, lower interest rates, and to some looks better.
I can't get past the ugly shape of the exterior of the Genesis Coupe.
Anyone have one? Looked at a Base V6 auto today. Sticker was like 27,500. Talked them down to 24,999 + TTL. I mean it's a sweet car but meh.. Should Hyundai scare me? Any other good Rear Drive performance coupe's out there for 25K?

I'll chime in since I actually own a 3.8 coupe. I've had it for a few months and really like it so far. Ride/handling/power all suits me. So in my opinion...
Pro's:
- Looks (direct/head on view being the least interesting)
- Value (most features for the $ when I was car shopping)
- Great warranty
- takes regular gas
- Head room is more than sufficient (important if you are on the taller side)
- Bolstered front seats (love these)
- Interior layout/controls
Con's:
- Interior plastics aren't the best quality/seem to scuff easily
(that's all at this point).
I thought about the new Camaro but the interior turned me off big time - also heard it was not good for tall people. I would have considered the Mustang if the new engines were out...the current V6 is junk.

Nope, I don't like the nose, nor do I like the body lines on the side of the car. The 370Z is worlds better inside and out.
It's also made for midgets. I was comfortable in the Genesis. The 370Z is tailored for small drivers where i am over 6 foot.

I'm moving back to LA and it's a 6Spd Auto. Just as quick as a 6spd manual these days. You ever drive a stick in rush hour traffic?

I am 5'11" without shoes on and I fit in the 350/370Z perfectly. Besides, it's not like Koreans are known for their tall stature.

I've known guys in their 20s and 30s who own Vettes and drive them like a total pussy...or just plain don't know how to drive them and I've met guys who own $250,000 supercars who do donuts in parking lots with them.

They've either had it for a while (lots of test drives) or someone at the dealership has been driving it a lot because I see older ads at the same dealer with lower miles. Could be a bad sign. Or it could just mean people wanted a joy ride.

Isn't the drivetrain warranty 3 years/36,000 miles anyway? Unless it has an extended warranty it's long past. And usually an extended warranty is a good selling point and they don't have it listed, so I wouldn't count on it.

Every Nissan dealer should be offering $4- $5K off MSRP on 370Z'a. If your dealer is not - then head to a big city.
2010 Mustang GT if you must have a car today. 315HP V8 and every dealer should be discounting $6 - 8K off MSRP depending on option packages. The Track Pack option is the key to a nimble fast Mustang GT.
My local dealer is offering 6k off MSRP! If I were a bit older and had money to spare, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
