Though I hate terms like "sister in jesus" and saying such as "following Jesus Christ is the only path to salvation." My grandma was hindu. She was awesome. A girl from my catholic school said that my grandma's going to hell because she did not accept Jesus.. I kicked this girl in her knee...She deserved it..And, if there is a Heaven, I'm positive that my grandma will be there while that self righteous b1tch? I'm not so sure about her..

Thank you for posting this. I am a Christian, but don't go to church. I believe in Jesus Christ. I do not think about things as you do, but I think that is ok. The world is full of individuals and we should respect each other as such. Who am I as a person to say to another that what they do is wrong when I do things wrong too. I do believe in prayer and that people should pray to God. I believe that evolution is a way of explaining part of the way that God works. God is more than evolution tho. I think people can think about things and think they have it figured out and then look down their nose at others. I don't think you are doing that with this thread, but I have seen it done by others in my life and not just dealing with religion/spirituality. One day we will all know what it is like after death and what is to become of ourselves and perhaps others.

I like what Isla said about being a follower of Jesus's teaching rather than being called a Christian. I think organized religion has problems, but that in part is because religion is filled with people who have problems to begin with. I think one of the most important things is "Love thy brother", meaning we all need to help each other out.

Well, I'll post more later maybe. It is late and I am tired and don't have the energy to think through what I want to say right now.

Oh, I know I'm going to hell - but I *earned* it. My grandma? She took care of 3 kids while dealing with an alcoholic husband, put her kids through college, lived in a shack yet still helped my dad make his way to America.. She aint deserve hell, but me? I look forward to hell - it'll be nice to stay in touch with all my friends.

Same, although I question this whole being "damned" thing A few people did bring it up, so I see no further point. But if God does exist, I cannot see how justice exists through him when he casts most of the world to hell --> especially for those who honestly look for God and come to a different answer but are still dedicated in their minds....how can they get the raw deal as compared with people who "grew up" in the right religion?
