Do you know what's way better than arguing about loss of American lives and the loss of Afghan lives? Replacing the words "American" and "Afghan" with the word "human".

No, stop b*tching about your "jihad" and do what you can every darn day to ensure that you love your fellow man. Your fellow man includes everyone in the world! Not just your family, not just your city, not just your state, not even your country. Your fellow man includes everyone. Love them all and try to see their situations. Try to live in their shoes. Love more.

I think that if Sept 11 taught us anything, it is that there needs to be more compassion for everyone. Not just more compassion for the victims of the WTC attacks, but more compassion for the starving children around the world who will grow up to despise and resent rich Americans and their easy lives.

This is the first time I've ever posted here about the Sept 11th tradegy. It will also be the last time. Believe me, it's been hard to stay out sometimes. I just hope that what I had to say gets through to at least 1 person.

On a lighter note: The recent Anthrax letters are a genetic match to Anthrax from US Army labs. The US Army denies any involvement.

Begs a few questions though:

1) Is someone in the military responsible?----I'd be shocked if this were true, I highly doubt it.
2) Has Anthrax been stolen from the US military?----Most likely scenario.
3) Is there a biological geneticist in the house(or someone called something somewhat similar to the name I used ) who could fill us in on the chances that a genetic match of Anthrax can or can not be related/unrelated?

i'm glad you're standing up for what you believe, and also that you're open minded enough to look into what is goin on. my friend got mad at her parents for putting up a flag and "not knowing what it stands for." she thought they were just being trendy. i didn't think it was nice, BUT, i think it is great that these ideas and topics are being discussed. maybe we'll get a real sense of nationalism somewhere down the line. its just sad that it takes a war...
