I am livid but helpless

My parked was hit four times in span of one year, and always on Sunday night. The cluprit runs away every single time.
Of course me been a good citizen, contact the police and file a claim with my insurance. The police say they can't do anything about it, and the insurance tells me I have to pay the deductible and my premium also goes up. The value of the car also goes down. Now my car was hit again, and I don't want to contact the police nor the insurance and screw it. Any other advise I can do?

Lol Who knows? Maybe a naive idiot who had some expectation of the law. I might as well hit and run too, or buy some high end camera peripherals and take the matter into my hand. P

Your options as far as I can tell:

1. Report it and pay the deductible/higher insurance rates.
2. Do nothing, and pay out of pocket for repairs.
3. Install a good surveillance camera if your car is getting hit that often to capture it happening, and (hopefully) get them to pay for it.
4. Go "John Wick" and deal out some major punishment (if you can ever find any of them), likely go to prison for the rest of your life.

Does the OP live in an apartment, condo, or a home without a garage and on a crowded street?

I guess I'm glad that I mostly park for less than an hour in shopping center lots when running errands, and it goes in my garage -- it's a gated community -- the rest of the time. I once lived in an apartment with a common parking lot, and this disgusting fat girl who lived there would "key" my paint. I just never caught her in the act, but I knew it was her.

Are you parking in someone else's spot or in front of the residence of someone with a dinged up vehicle?

Move somewhere that allows off-street parking. If in a parking garage move into a house with its own garage. Or stay and continue to suffer hit and runs.
