See, Grey Goose is alright but it's about up there with Absolut in terms of quality vs. price. It's all about the bottle unfortunetely,damn tools trying to look cool with a badge, "Hey, all the rappers rap about it so it must be good!". It really isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

Luksosova, that is some good ass vodka, and the people on vodkaphiles agree with me. It's pretty much the best vodka that I've ever tasted, a delicuous buttery potato flavor, makes an excellent martini and it's no more than $25 or so for a handle. GG doesn't have anything on it.

Grain vodka doesn't hold a candle to potato vodka.
Buttery is not the correct word, but there really isn't another word for it. It's the closest word that I've heard that describes the taste.

God damn, I've done and convinced myself to get a bottle. I want a damn martini.

Save the shots for the cheap tequila. Good vodka is to be sipped very cold. Although Grey Goose being good Vodka is questionable Grey Goose is the Bose of the Vodka industry - you are paying for their marketing.

Sadly, my favorite Vodka seems to have lost their US distibutor. Wyborowa.

Grey Goose is nasty, but it beats the hell outta 3 Star and some other crappy cheap sh!t. You don't even need to have it chilled if you are a real man!

Next time break out the Absolut and Kremlyovskaya. Absolut Vanilla is the bomb, and if you can get your hands on some Chocolate Kremlyovskaya, you'll have fun...

So in other words... someone brought a bottle of THE WORST TASTING VODKA ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH.... Yeah... How can people drink that stuff?

I thought it was so funny when I saw a blind taste test where Grey Goose was voted worse because it had a "gasoline" or "oily" taste to it. By definition, vodka is tasteless and odorless.

So why is Goose so popular? More expensive and pretty bottle. Fools.

Grey Goose is a pretty decently smooth vodka, but perhaps the single most overrated alcohol on the market. I *personally* feel that when people start to praise Grey Goose left and right then perhaps that person really hasn't tasted a lot of vodka and is likely just riding the "Grey Goose is Good" bandwagon.

It's a good vodka, but it's not "all that" either.

Seriously, you need to try striaght up Stoli. No flavor or smell... the way Vodka is meant to be.

Ketel One is surprisingly amazing for being from Holland and only 15 years old, but it's good. About the same price of Stoli if you can find it.

This is true. However you only feel this the next day and after a few days you think "you know that wasn't so bad". It starts out sucking then gets good then you drift off into some wonderful dreamy floating wonderland. The next day you feel like yo have been in the ring with a 400 pound heavyeight giving you body blows all night long. The difficult part is telling yourself a week latter just how bad it made you feel and reminding yourself that you are actually doing yourself harm. Trust me it's very hard to remind yourself of that! Haven't been seriously drunk for probably 40+ days or so but I often still feel like getting a drink and probably will do so soon. So long as I can keep it really spaced out to several months apart or more.

Ah ok. So let me see. 1.5 oz x 7 shots = 10.5 oz at 75.5% = 7.9 oz of alcohol. Which = 19.8 oz of Vodka or something similar. Yeah I've drank a full fifth of Vodka a couple of times but that would get you pretty drunk too!
