Ironically I believe Tim Hardaway was doing interviews as a representative for the "we care" foundation, or something like that. I'm sure they made him apologize, but I'd be surprised if they let him continue to do interviews.

Think a little harder. It has nothing to do with level of plight, but the understanding and compassion for difference that that (should) come from such suffering at the hands of blind prejudice on any level. Replace the word "n*ggers" for "gays" in Hardaway's sentence, and see what you come up with.
