TMII can't stand being outside. I love being inside climate controlled buildings without bugs and shit trying to fly into my face. And the mosquitoes blow too

I can't stand it when teachers post on FB - 10 more days till summer vacation - we need it! Yeah great you worked 180 days of the year, not even full days, while the rest of us are at about 250.
Today is your last day? Good grief. My daughter has been out since the 19th of May. They go back on August 10th. When do you guys start up again?
For the shit my wife deals with on a daily basis I'd gladly take my 250ish days over her 180ish days. Most of the time I can stick my headphones on and code something or work on something else. Some corporate bs from time to time, but most of the time nothing major. Meanwhile she has to be "on" all day or get walked on by a bunch of high school students. Plus since she works at a low income school she gets to deal with breaking up fights, parents who don't give a shit, kids who don't give a shit, bad administration that isn't willing to give proper discipline. Just last week she told some kids who weren't hers that were outside of her classroom being loud to go to class and got met with "fuck you. What the fuck are you going to do about it anyway?" And she gets to school at 6:30am and usually isn't home until 4:30 or 5. That's a full day.
True story
When you throw all of that extra BS on top of it like not being able to discipline children in any way, other than sending them to a principal that may or may not care how they're behaving. Then if they're behaving like that the parents probably don't care or don't believe their precious little angel is a demon spawn when they're at school. It definitely ranks up there in my mind as one of the most mentally exhausting jobs you could deal with on a daily basis.
I also have a teacher at home and don't know what to do with her. This morning I was drinking my coffee and checking email at the breakfast table, like always, and... there's this other person there, like, trying to "talk" to me.
And I've been informed that when I get home tonight, there will be something called a "salad" in the refrigerator. Apparently I'm supposed to each something I didn't cook - not sure how I like that idea.
Disturbing.
That's the reason why old people want to retire in warmer climates.fuck everything about winter.....the older i get the more i hate the cold, used to like it, not anymore
can't you video tape these bad seeds and show the parents how much of a douche little Johnny is being?
I'm aware, as I know many teachers and associated staff - they also do it to pad their pensions so it's not about immediate payoff. And many are hardly stressed. Many (as in the average) here earn 6 figures too (making it easy to afford being here so there are many unionized teachers living among us). My point is they should be the last ones openly expressing relief about finally getting time off, especially when we work longer/harder to pay their salaries. There are more than enough school vacation days throughout the year too.
