you know when there is someone pulled over on the side of the road or an accident that has moved to the side of the road, but there is traffic even though none of the lanes are blocked off. the reason for that traffic is because everyone who is passing by turns their heads [necks] to look, taking focus off of the road, in turn causing them to slow down to be cautious. this in turn has a rubberband effect for everyone behind this, causing more traffic.

well this effect is called rubbernecking.

what he's saying is that everyone comes in here to just see you get reemed and laugh at you, not with you, and then continues on their way. they aren't genuinely interested but just want to see what bad stuff is going on because it's entertaining.

it's far from a redneck term, and i thought the all knowing perfect danny casio would know this term, since you already know more than everybody else in the world combined.

WTF is wrong with you? Rubbernecking is a very common term, its even used in the traffic reports (rubbernecking delays) in the DC Metro area, I doubt the people (myself included) driving in this traffic listening to the traffic reports speak in ebonics or are rednecks. Do you threadcrap in every single thread that you post in?
