I got another bullet smoker, and this weekend Applewood smoked some sausage links and brined and BBQ rubbed bone in chicken thighs. I have baby back ribs brining in the refrigerator as I type. I'll put them on the smoker shortly so they are done by dinner time. I'll take the rest of the chicken meat and put it in the BBQ beans and make some mac and cheese.

My grandmother changed religions and churches like most people change underwear. Bottom line was they sent a lot of money to the TV based evangelists in the 60s 70s.
They lived rent free on our property in a single wide mobile home and it just pissed my dad off something fierce that they were sending money off to these shysters. He called it fire insurance.

After a long and arduous search (returned a couple brands of junk), I found an Even Embers grill that I could not be happier with. Two years in, its an excellent grill that resembles a high end brand with the same controls and burners. So yes, grill hardware over computer hardware.

Sadly that's actually a thing now lol. Saw a post of someone that was getting ready to grill something, and it was stuck at doing an update so he couldn't use it until the update was over.

See i have the exact opposite way of thinking about my tech stuff and my bbq grill.
I like my tech to be needlessly complicated and need constant tweaking and attention and I like my grill to just be a pile of carbon that I set on fire and then drink beer in front of it while trying not to burn food and myself!

I somehow seriously doubt that when my daughters reaches the age where they start drinking beer my life will be easier... (legal drinking age for beer and wine is 16 in Denmark, and many start earlier)
