Is Kerry doing better? I believe he is, but is it enough to win the election...

My vote is going to Kerry.

But I believe America has a HUGE Bible Belt. Bigger then you or I will ever know. And sadly They are NOT for Stem Cell Research (even tho one day it could save them), Nor are they for abortions. So, Bush will take the Majority of those votes.

So, I still think Bush will most likely win.

But who here really cares? I say RELAX. If John wins. Do you really think it's going to change that much? I doubt it. The president is just a puppet on a string. To get anything passed he would have to win over the Right and the Left. It's not so easy. Since 50% or more of the house is expecting bush to win so they can get more of those taxes.

If Kerry wins (which I really don't think he will) I'm going out on a limb and saying he wins without the popular vote.

Here's why: In 2000 the popular vote was real close. Well, I think Bush is going to get even more votes from California and New York. He won't win them, but because of Arnold and Rudy he could pick up an extra 2-3 million votes in those states. Assuming it's another close race like it looks to be -like last time- then maybe Kerry gets a super close upset in Ohio and Florida for those electorals, but Bush slightly outscores him in total votes.

It's a long shot, but I guess I like to be different (and if I'm right I look like a genius )

I think Kerry is going to win the election. I just don't think that the Repubs can do anything to stop all the momentum he has going for him right now, only 19 days to the election. It's like the repubs after their convention, Kerry is surging. Anyone agree or disagree?

Gore had a lot of momentum going for him after the debates as well. However, he still lost the election. I think it's going to be very close, but if there is indeed an October surprise on the horizon, ie: catching Osama...Kerry is doomed.

Why would he have a breakdown?

With 270 million people critizing his every utterance! Having to keep his stories straight for days on end! No doobies!

They used to call us the silent majority.

How old are you, to be resorting to such juvenilia? What do you mean, no doobies? I'm unaware of any allegations whatsoever that Sen Kerry is a drug user, and he has been subject to criticism of his every utterance for the last 20 years. That's some pretty heavy innuendo to levy against a United States senator with no evidence whatsoever.

After watching the three debates, do you sincerely believe he's less capable of weathering criticism of his speech than President Bush (who has, after all, talked publically about how hard it is for working people "to put food on their families," bemoaned the plight of OB/GYNs who are unable to "practice their love on women all across this country," and said he wasn't all that concerned about the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden)?

Because of voter fraud, it is possible. They almost got it in 2000 with their accelerated naturalization of immigrants.

But Bush won out thanks to his campaign's efforts to purge the voter rolls of thousands of people eligible to vote.

One thing about this election, is that the 'real' margin of error for polls is widely considered to be higher than what is actually stated. Lots of volatility regarding actual number of voters and the undecided sector.

It's really anybody's guess.

He didn't get that heavy smokers complexion from nothing. He looks like the Marlboro man.

The republicans are good at smear campaigns. it's the only way they can win. Don't discuss the things that matter is their strategy.

What matters?
1) economy
2) outsourcing
3) terrorism
4) taxes
5) Iraq
6) Chenny's daughter is a lesbian?

Hrmm, how did (6) get in there?

Just wait. The Republicans will find photos of Kerry smoking a joint in vietnam or something stupid even though Bush was an alcoholic half of his life.

Don't flame me either, because I'll revive this thread just to spite the flamers on election night.

Please do, even if Bush wins.

The fact that you think it will be a "comfortable margin" will cause us to shreak with laughter. You seem so very confident even though Bush only won in 2000 by cheating

I don't know about a comfortable margin but I think Bush will win. And yes, if he doesn't revive this thread after the GOP's victory I will.

I will admit I was wrong if he loses, but the comments of "Kerry will win" will not go unchecked if he wins.

I just can't wait to hear all the crying when Bush wins. I'll have a box of virtual kleenexs for you.....

Again, this is remarkably juvenile - you are implying from what you perceive about Sen Kerry's appearance that he is a drug user, with ZERO evidence. Regardless of your age, you're acting juvenile and petty, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

What you're saying is analogous to my saying that, because you seem unable to properly use an apostrophe, you are obviously a heavy crack smoker. You are, right?

:disgust:

In areas where there was problem, it was under the control of democrats.
