Think about this: say 1 in every 200 motherboards has a manufacturing defect.
- Akbar-n-Jeffs Komputer Hutt sells 400 motherboards = they sell 2 defective motherboards
- Newegg sells 8,000 motherboards = they sell 40 defective motherboards.

So they sell more defective motherboards. Now do you understand?

Newegg just sends you the box as they received it from the manufacturer, you are not paying them the extra $50-100 to open it and burn it in at a test station. If you want pre-tested equipment buy from some local PC store and pay for the service.

I have bought a lot of stuff from Newegg, i have had some stuff that had problems,but,when i did either it was out of warranty,Like a m'board dided after 19 months,or they took care of it,when it was still under a years time.

No place is perfect,and neither am I,/

i have spent thousands and thousands of dollars there, dealt with the RMA department, etc, and have had nothing but good experiences.

i spent prob around 10 grand at newegg and only have had to return one mother board. I will definitely keep chopping there for the time being.

I too have dropped many thousands of dollars on newegg.

My RMA'd stick of RAM showed up yesterday and is in my backup computer as we speak. I bought a cheapo 256mb stick of DDR333 and they don't sell it anymore so they sent me a nice shiny red stick of KingMAX instead.

I say Newegg rocks and that's the end of this discussion.

I have ordered a lot of stuff from Newegg and NEVER had a problem that wasn't quickly resolved. For example I had a DOA motherboard I needed to return and it was painless with no hassles.

I think Newegg DOESN'T suck!
