Do you (or anyone) know the difference between the 6100 series and the Life Time Classic keyboards by Keytronics?

I actually had looked at that. Have you tried it? I couldn't seem to find anywhere to buy it...

Yeah, I have it and love it.
You can buy it at the site. The company's in Singapore.
I just checked.. they're out of stock!

When I bought it, it was about $70 in Singapore dollars with an additional $45 for shipping. Converted into US dollar it's really about $50. It took about 4 days to arrive.
If you have small hands, it may be a little uncomfortable as the gaming keys are bigger than normal.
Keep checking the site... or you may want to email them.

6100 series is half the price and has membrane switches (30 mega stroke life) while the Lifetime I believe still has the original KT rubber-dome switches ( 20 mega stroke life). The LT series also has a lifetime warranty.
. The 3600 series differs from the 6100 in that the 3600 has the O-T-K (One True Keyboard - see the Dan's Data web site for elaboration) layout, while the 6100 has the big L shape return key with other keys shifted around to make way for it. [edit] I was wrong you can get both L and OTK layouts in the 360x series, but only the L in the 6101. The 6101 has a "center bearing" switch technology, is more compact, and has a 1 yr. longer warranty.
. It's looking like Key Tronic has put that "Ergo" variable key pressure thing in all their keyboards now.

I can't believe there are still people who haven't seen it. There were literally about 10 reposts of it all over the forums a few months ago.

Anywho, there's no telling when it will be released or for how much.

I missed it. Actually I would NEED this thing. Actually I never understood how is it nobody thought about his BEFORE. I constantly need to shift between 3 languages... and It's always been an headache... I will be buyer number one of this beauty...

Use three language-specific keyboards with a custom switch box - not hard to do and surely less expensive than the Optimus.

That's in part what I am doing now.. using two keyboards... But they take a lot of space and switching between them is a pain. I am more than willing for something that makes my job more easy. I am sure that no matter what the price of this beauty will be I'll be happy to pay it, smiling. Chaos on the desk and lost time is something I cannot afford, a couple of hundreds dollars for a keyboard resolving the problem won't be a problem...
