Curious how Amazon wrecked WholeFoods. I've never been in one. The closest to me afaik is in the city, and I avoid the city as much as possible anymore. For regular groceries Sprouts has pretty decent prices, not too different from mainline grocery stores. They also sell a bunch of organic/healthfood stuff that costs more. Amazon wrecked Whole Foods, don't waste your time there. Trader Joe's is a wino outlet that sells party foods on the side.
I thought Sprout's prices were decent. The store's brand new, so there may be some overly competitive pricing going on for a little while, but we'll see.
Only been in TraderJoes once, but I liked them. Before Sprouts showed up, I was wishing a TraderJoes came. They'd be a good companion to aldi.
