IC7 wont overclock

Just got my ABIT ic7 today, setup is as follows hybrid koolance/acrylic case 2 256mb twinmos pc3200 and p4 3.06. This setup would previously hit 3.5ghz without a hitch running folding@home 24/7 at 1.6v. This new IC7 will not overclock at all without the windows complaining of a problem with the ntoskrnl as soon as I back down to standard settings everything is OK. I have tried more vcore - no joy and temps are 48c according to the abit hardware monitor. I am using the 113 bios and it seems nothing I try is working any help ?

thats bad.... im sure things with the ic7 will get better... abit's reputation is hinging on it. im hoping right there with you.

Yes it does matter, try PSB533 or PSB800 if By CPU isn't working. Back off your memory timings to their default SPD or manually program them high. Make sure the PC Health section is reading your Vcore consistently at 1.55V or higher (you will get the majority of your best possible overclock between 1.525V and 1.60V). And of course, set your memory divider ratio to 3:2, which I assume you didn't do as most people simply overlook that major detail, I know I've done it before.

Its currently running OK @ 23*145 for 3.33ghz @ 1.575, with the n/b strap @ 533. Through sissoft I get 3400 memory score seems slightly low is this about right?.
