It's rather famous, I have seen it used in countless commercials and print ad's. A few years ago Toyota and a competing car maker were both incidentaly running magazene ads with their cars driing on the skyway bridge, both ad's appeared in the same magazene!

Also there are some High School geometry text books that feature this brige on the cover.

It is a long drive (for a bridge that is) accross it. The Skyway Bridge is about 6x time longer than the Brooklyn Bridge and 2.5 times longer than the Golden Gate Bridge.
