Idiots or Fashion Gods?

Today i noticed a bunch of guys at the movies who were indulged in the fashion of having their pants below their butt, so that their boxer shorts are on display for the world to see. Why do they even bother wearing the pants, it seems to get in their way when they walk. To me sagging your pants a little might be OK... but for it to be as low as these were, i just wrongly assume that the kids are idiots.

In their defence... maybe they all lost their belts or something.

But, while this is true, I wouldn't dress in a way that can hinder my own safety (read: fall down go boom) and I don't know why they do.
