How's this work? Will I waste my life away like I did in middle school with UO?

Everything has changed, it's ridiculous. New buildings, different pillaging rules, stuff costs less (and more in some cases).

They've actually done some good with v0.3 now.

- No more gold pillaging.
- Trading ports no longer affect loot - you send cargo ships along with a pillage, and they all load in something like 30 minutes, or until there's no more loot left.
- Wall breaches are still screwed up.
- New buildings to boost resource production.
- Wood and luxury resources are produced at the same rate, 1 per person per hour.
- Military units are a bit weaker, but much cheaper.
- The combat engine gives a much higher attrition rate per round.
- Steam Giants kind of suck.
- Trade ships are a lot cheaper, the max is up to 160, and they hold 500 items each.

Not to worry though, they can be replaced. My current favorite unit: Bombardiers, for both defense and offense.

Back from the dead. We're still playing this silly game. Some of the old timers that have left will be happy that we are finally fighting the FIA alliances.

I don't miss the game. The game itself was buggy as hell. I miss making everyone on the server fear the collective power of AT, however.
