I'm in Singapore right now for a short visit, and to be honest it's definitely not as exciting as say Bangkok. But, it's safe, clean, and efficient, so guess you really can't complain. Things to do? Hmm... Sentosa sucks, don't bother. The Night Safari at the zoo is pretty cool. Riverboat rides at night near Clarke Quay are fun too. People watching at the shopping mall lined Orchard Road is also fun. And the public canings for those infidels who dare to chew gum never get old either (j/k). For things to buy, prices are in general higher than in the US. This goes for clothes, electronics, etc. Food's good here though... lots of variety to suit everyone (shame there isn't a decent Mexican place in town).
