im sorry people but but i do not agree with what urbant did. first off, a drug offense will go into the guys permanent record, ruining the chance of him getting many jobs in the future. wasnt it possible to just never to talk to this person again, perhaps letting him know that you do not want to ever see or hear from this person again, then perhaps he would have left you alone. but no, you took the another route and now, if this guy suspects that you turned him in, you might have to watch over your shoulder.

although i do not advocate drug use or any type of illegal activity, i do not condone it either, whatever you do at the privacy of your home is your problem and your decisions, i will not judge you for it, or turn you in.

Despite the fact that i favor legalization (I am not a pothead either), Wouldn't it have been much more fun to blackmail him instead of ratting him out. that ay you could cause him atleast as much torment as he has caused you, plus it wouldn't fvck up his life. I dont know whats wrong with all of you. a gram of weed is a joke. A lot of u guys need to get with the times.

Although i very rarely smoke weed, I don't look at people who do it regularly any differently than i do the people who go out all the time and get drunk. Just because he smokes weed doesnt make the guy evil. about a 3rd of my university's population smokes weed at least once every couple of weeks. Just because its against the law doesnt make it bad. personally i don't see the problem in it.

By turning the guy into the cops u caused him a great deal of trouble which he probably didnt deserve.

having a gram of weed is such a minor offense that most of hte time the cops won't even bother to do anything about it, but they probably felt compelled since they were officially notified that the guy had possession.

apart from it being against the law, weed is no more damaging to a person than smoking a cigarette. ratting the guy out is a pathetic way to get at him.
