Yeah, the iPod Nano seems overpriced to me. Sure, it's small, but $250 for a 4 GB MP3 player? My 30 GB iPod Photo was only $100 more than that 6 months ago!
Oh, and I still gotta bitch about the lack of a radio. Hell, even my $30 Sony Walkman came with a radio!
Dude, its as thin as a pencil. It will fit in the CHANGE pocket in your jeans. Yes, the change pocket! And flash memory is more expensive than HD so you can't compare them.
Honestly the iPod bashing is getting lame. Sure it was much appreciated when Apple had the battery fiasco and when they were selling for $399. But since then they keep getting smaller, thinner, lighter, more battery life, color screens, and CHEAPER. Plus they have always worked with no problems, and iTunes is some of the best music management software with NO BLOATWARE like Real or MusicMatch (latest version uses less memory than before too.) I challenge you to find ANY flash-based player with 4GB, color screen, .27" thin and under $250.
I have two mp3 players now and both are the best I've used. One is the 20GB iPod, the other is a 3-year old Rio flash that I use at the gym and when running. I tried others from Samsung and Sony and they sucked ass...syncing music did not work 100% so I dumped them.
