not even the same thing. Standing up for ones self is not the same as delaying what can be equivalent to throwing gasoline onto a fire.. I never said I was afraid. Trying to avoid a Civil War or to prevent escalating violence isn't being afraid, it's being a leader to protect lives that are at stake here, not just Trump. The logic is only lost by you because you fail to think past "impeach him now, don't delay" mentality. You would fail as a leader I can tell you that now.
You don't have to say the words, "I am afraid" for me to recognize your opinions are based on fear.

It is your victimhood mentality that claims you are attacked for only simple disagreement. That is not the case, nor is it honest to claim so.

It is how you handwave away any opposing ideas or thoughts, and present your own OPINIONS, as fact and truth even though they are highly unlikely possible eventualities. It's dishonest.

You're simply an egotistical imbecile who considers his own opinions more valid and/or valuable than any who might disagree.

That's why you can fuck off, clown.

Sorry, I was raiser to stand up for myself, my views, and not allow intimidation, bullies, and the like to dictate the outcome. I wasn't raised, nor is it in my nature to coward down and summit.

This is ironically, crazy hilarious.

Because you have been arguing vociferously for more than 12 hours, that we must back off from Impeachment, out for fear of what the Trump Army will do.

How dare we try to intimidate you with our powerful words by disagreeing with you, when you are trying to convince us we must be intimidated by the Trump Mob.

I am calm. Not putting up with people berating me because they don't agree, make accusations, call me names, tell me to fuck off, calling me a pussy, and mocking me because I believe that delaying it for the 100 days would be the best path, rather than do it now and fuel the violence doesn't meant I'm not calm. I have no problem discussing something, but I do have a problem with people attacking, mocking, berating others because they don't agree.

Dude, you are the furthest thing from calm. Spending the time you have, posting the number of posts you have tell us the direct opposite. I have read the posts and the responses. It is clear to me. I will not get sucked into your vortex. Keep spinning. When you stop the only outcome will that you’re dizzy. Have fun being calm. Your point is just your opinion. We each have one. Whether I agree or disagree on this, I would never invest the time and effort in posting what you have, as being calm is the direct opposite.

calm
kahm; older use kam; spelling pronunciation kahlm

—adjective, calm·er, calm·est.

1. without rough motion; still or nearly still: a calm sea.
2. not windy or stormy: a calm day.
3. free from excitement or passion; tranquil: a calm face; a calm manner.

—noun

4. freedom from motion or disturbance; stillness.
5. Meteorology. wind speed of less than 1 mile per hour (0.447 m/sec).
6. freedom from agitation, excitement, or passion; tranquillity; serenity: She faced the possibility of death with complete calm.

—verb (used with object)

7. to make calm: He calmed the excited dog.

—verb (used without object)

8. to become calm (usually followed by down ).

No where in this definition is there the actions you are showing in this thread. It might be better if you open your window, stick your head out and yell, “I am calm. We must wait 100 days before we impeach President Insurrection. I am just not going to take it any more. I am calm.” That might convince the folks here more about your argument than the actions you are taking.

Trump might be resigning today, according to what appears to be on an Official WH webpage.

If that's the case, I wonder if it would be to avoid scrutiny over a self-pardon, and instead, have Pence pardon him.

How does that stop Trump from issuing the Self Pardon, and then resigning.

IMO, If he does resign, it's simply to stop Impeachment, because he might fear that he could actually get convicted by the Senate, and then loses Pension, Free Security and other Perks as a former president.

Resigning would be better for him than Impeachment, and in the end that is the only calculation that matters for Trump.

Only if said resignation came with a full pardon from Pence...then, let him take his chances with the states.

I'm just referring to how there has been some disagreement over whether a self-pardon was ever intended.

Pretty sure it wasn't, so it would probably end up in Supreme Court. Can't guess if the highly partisan court full of Trump appointees would save him or not.

Don't forget his $200K/year pension which I'm sure he'll accept after he leaves office.
You mean the "chump change"? Oh wait...
He will be spending millions in lawyer fees as a civilian trying to fend off creditors and the tax man.

"There is no doubt Donald Trump incited the insurrection on January 6. It happened largely in public and is recorded for prosperity. Let's review the record:"
