In GPU's whas better ??

Finally i think i would go with nVidia Geforce 6200 ..
now i need to decide as to which one should i buy ..

as AGP card is without turbo cache .. only dedicated video ram ..
wheras PCI-E has a turbo cache and dedicated video ram of max 64 MB ..
(this is the case for 6200 only .. )

Please guide this newbie ..

You say it like you have a mobo that supports both :S Unless your mobo choice will be decided by what card you buy..in which case go with the PCI-E, it is better for future upgrades.

i plan to get ASUS A8N-E ...
and i dont want a GPU with a turbo cache .. as many of anandtech members suggested ..

What are you going to use it for, that you need the 6200? You haven't said anything useful thus far, aside from wanting dedicated video RAM. Waht for?

mainly bcos ASUS A8N-E does not contain a VGA port (output) ..

secondarly bcos i wanna play some games .. not a gamer tough ..

The Asus A8N-E does not have an AGP slot, you'll need to get the PCIe 6200. Whether or not you get a TC version or not is up to you, they make both. But a 128MB DDR nonTC 6200 runs around 70, while the TC version is only 50.

AGP is not an option for the A8N-E board though, and the 6200s don't exist in AGP factor at all.

You should probably get a board that has pci-e therfore get a pci-e video card.
