Russia will start to see who to support, if goes with India, the issue will be China, the latter has a LOT to lose and if Russia betrays China, will lose them AND India too since Pakistan and China will screw India from both sides.

But India can ruin Pakistan with Russia and Afghanistan on the other side. Unless Iran enters and attacks Afghanistan too...

i believe they just shut the dams on the indus yesterday, have moved their rusting heap of an aircraft carrier closer to Pakistan as well, Pakistan has banned all Indian flights over it's territory as well
