Exactly what I was thinking. For $330 you can get an Acer Aspire One with almost identical specs, except 8GB SSD and 3-cell battery instead of 4-cell.Originally posted by: clandren
for that price it seems rather lackluster

Right now the Ideapad is looking pretty temping.
Agreed.
But I've heard there going to release another, bit more beefy version. Its supposed to have a bigger HDD, more ram, and a bigger battery. Anyone hear about it?

The Aspire One looks to be the best netbook in terms of price/specs right now... for me, it's basically between the Aspire One and the MSi Wind, but the One is much less expensive. The only major point the Wind has over the One is the extra inch and the improved keyboard... anyone else think that the Wind is worth the extra ~$130 over the One?

I finally got mine, MSI Wind. Keyboard is pretty nice, had a chance to do some typing on it today. It is pretty large though, compared to my co-worker's Eee PC 901.
