Information on Intel Xeon 3.4D

Cleaning up and organizing old hardware I found a pair of Xeon 3.4D CPUs I inherited from somewhere. These provided the impetus to (finally) upgrade my old server for our family network. It has done a great job for a l-o-n-g time. An old P3 system based on a Tyan Tiger 100t with dual P3 1000s and a whole gig of memory.
I had an empty Antec P182 and an Antec Earthwatts 500W PS. I found a Tyan Tiger i7322DP Motherboard @ Geeks for 16.00 and it WILL fit the Antec case. Tyan reports it will support these CPUs.

Here's why I'm posting: After 2 days of searching using differing sets of queries I can't find but one site that mentions whether these Xeons are 64 or 32 bit CPUs. That same single site mentioned that these will show as dual cores as well.
Other then that one site these questions are never answered for me. I looked all over the actual CPUs for stepping codes to no avail as well.

Any of you experts know anything about the 3.4D?

Yes they should be 64-bit. If they are 3.4 GHz then they are Nocona (single core, HT) and are 64-bit.

If I were you I would sell them for whatever you can get and put the money towards a a Core based CPU. The RAM you'll need for that machine would likely cover the CPU, motherboard, and RAM for a low end E5200 or C2D box. If you're willing to overclock a little you'll end up with a faster machine that consumes a fraction the power those dinosaurs will need. If you don't feel like overclocking you'll still end up with a machine that is far faster than you need (since P3's have been doing fine), and not much slower than the Xeons.

Viper, these are now retailing for more or less 130.00 apiece but looking around Ebay and such there is zero interest in them. I did finally find the stepping info thanks to Potted Meat's reply getting me off my arse and actually pulling one out and looking with a magnifying glass (darn old age).
They are SL7PG Costa Rica made chips. I have some DDR2 ECC memory I can use already or I would take that advice, and thanks. My whole (new) cost to do this will be the price of the Mobo and 2 heatsink/fans since I had everything else just taking space in the garage or cabinets. My server does little other then provide DC services and as a file store for MP3s, movies, and research storage and the like.
