Okay, after having this same problem with the Asus A8V a few months ago and throwing the board out because we couldn't get it to work and Asus and the vendor were no help (anyone want to buy a 3800+ cheap?) I am now having the same problems with this board, and am beginning to think I am cursed.
Here is the rig (all parts are new unless so stated):
Case: OmniTech (now BuyMPC) desktop (used)
PSU: Antec 550 TruePower
CPU: Intel 3.46GHz EE
RAM: 4 - Apacer DDRII PC4300 1GB
HDD: 2 - WD 250GB SATA (SATA0 and SATA1)
Video: ATI Radeon X800 PCI-E
CD and FDD (used)
Okay, I put all these components in the box, started it up, and not a peep out of it. No video, no error beeps. Nothing.
I have checked the power to the ATI, and this seems to be good. I have not tested the power in the line and have an Antec 480 I can use for drill.
There is a DVI out and a DB15 out on the ATI, and I have connected a cable to both.
I can't even get into the BIOS. I have had a professional tech breathe on it, and he can't get it to do anything either.
Any ideas?
