Internal Drive showing as removable

Hey guys,
I recently had a drive fail on me... I recieved the replacement and connected it to the computer. But its showing as a removable drive.
Its a Barracuda 1TB and is an internal sata drive.
I've checked disk management and clicked "for performance" But it hasnt changed anything
I've also installed the marvell drivers from asus.
any help would be great!

There is nothing wrong.
All SATA devices can be 'removable'.
SATA was made for hot-plug in mind.

Yes, it's normal. It might depend on the motherboard drivers installed. Even if you try to eject it, it should give a warning about it being a system drive. It's not really a problem except for the icon present in the tray.

thanks guys... its just annoying that it doesnt show up in the right category in explorer... also i thought it would fix the other problem i am having with files <4gb
and it is formatted as NTFS
