Internet access in San Jose

I'll be visiting San Jose, CA (Palo Alto, actually) with my grandson for a few days starting tomorrow.

He needs to email a homework assignment back here to NY on Thursday.
Does anyone in the area know where some Internet Cafes are?

one spot I know of is if you goto Tapioca express (bubble tea place) they have free internet access there (2 comps usually) plus if you have wireless you can log in for free....

I was there this summer...let's just say you will have no problem finding internet. I seem to recall having about 5 wifi APs be listed at any given time while in the city...

tons of resturaunts in the downtown san jose area have wifi. the quiznos at san pablo square does. for itnernet cafes, check out rivalution (its more of a lan center) on capitol and check out the great mall. there's a lan cafe i nthe mall also.

This is pretty much your best option. I was just at this place called BarCode (pearl tea place) for a meeting and they had free internet access there too.

from what i understand, downtown san jose has a free public wireless network run by the city. i've never tried it out, but it gets talked about in the papers and stuff.

EVERY city is loaded with free wifi. Trust me on this.

san jose is the silicon valley. You will have internet access EVERYWHERE you go.

I personal frequent Euphnet Cafe's, since that is where my friends and i play counterstrike and it's a great place. You can pay them a buck or so just to use the computer long enough to check email/send it out. But yea, San jose is wired/less pretty good, you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
